After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins in double overtime Wednesday night, tonight’s game may be the last playoff round before the Bruins make their way to the Stanley Cup Final. Despite an admirable performance by the Penguins, the Bruins are poised to make a 4-0 sweep of the series tonight at home. Thousands of Bruins fans (and some Pittsburgh supporters too) will flock to the TD Garden to see if our home team will advance to the Championship for the second time in three years.

If we do advance to the Final tonight, you can be sure there will be plenty of rejoicing in Boston, even as Tropical Storm Andrea brings heavy winds and rain to the area starting this evening. Boston is a sports town and there’s no weather that will keep us from cheering on our team as we head on to face either Chicago or Los Angeles in the championship. Let’s go Bruins!

Of course, if the Bruins lose, there are games tentatively scheduled for Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday if needed. If you’re in town for a match, our Boston bed and breakfast hotels are located close to public transportation so the Garden is just a short T ride away.
